“No no, you guys take five,” you order before switching to the team radio. “Turtle, Occult club, you guys put some HE into the smoke clouds, see if you can clear it. Leopon, be ready to engage anything that we spot after that. Rabbit team, I don’t know the situation over there, but I expect it’ll be something similar.”
“A lot less smoke and a lot more tanks,” Azusa mutters back. “We’ll deal with them though.”
“Do your best,” you reply. By the time you’re done giving orders, the teams on your side are already firing away. Turtle and the Occult team are ripping into it with their guns, and Leopon is waiting for it to clear enough to get a shot.
“More smoke is being laid,” Leo crackles over the intercom. You look down, and his hatch is open, and he’s looking out north towards the Pravda tanks pushing east.
“Yeah, I see it,” you nod. “At least a couple of them in the hedgerows along the road providing covering fire.”
“We got one!” Nakajima crows. You turn your attention back to the column and while you still can’t see most of it, you can see the one smoking wreck thanks to Leopon’s actions.
“Azusa? Your end?” You ask.
“We must’ve taken like a dozen hits, but we got a pair of them,” she says, slightly dazed. “There are more though, and they’re moving fast.”
“Any hits taken?” You ask.
“Occult club’s taken a nasty hit,” Nakajima replies.
“We took many but no damage,” Azusa replies. “Our Jumbo escort has though.”
