TalOS felt a small spark coming across the eyes of Guilliman as he decided to take over their communications, “TalOS, I have read the Forge Administration Guideline that you gave out to your Priests, it is an interesting piece of literature.”
Of the words to be spoke this was one of the items that TalOS was not expecting, “You read my work?” The words that escaped his mouth was something that showed his disbelief on the matter.
“I had heard talks about it among the Priests of Mars when I noticed their odd behaviors.” The Primarch pointed out as he noticed he got something, “They were on a set schedule I noticed, but their schedule seemed almost perfectly mirrored across the force without issue. To add to that, your sons said at times that they were on their break and that they should only act on matters of peril.”
There was no physical function that he experienced, such as the heating of the stomach or reddening of the cheeks. Such a thing was impossible unless TalOS allowed it to happen. It was in his mind where he was feeling what people called embarrassment.
It was an unpleasant feeling. It was a human one though and TalOS did not see the need to excise it from his body. He simply needed to deal with it.
“It is through my investigations that people need their breaks. There are multiple factors to it that are considered and gained by giving your people such permissions.” TalOS pointed out as he gave a small grin, “By relaxing and taking the moment to recover their minds and bodies gain more effectiveness. By giving their breaktime priority they are more likely to follow you for the fact that you care for their well being. Even the warriors need a break.”
“You do not need to justify your thoughts TalOS, I read your book.” Guilliman pointed out with a small laugh in his heart, “It reminds me of what my Father did upon Macragge. Unlike my Father though, it is well thought out and the statistics you gave demonstrate that you’ve worked upon the subject for at least a few years.”
TalOS could have allowed himself a sense of Pride take him. But he decided not to and had a question to ask, “Did you ask one of my sons for a copy, or did a Priest give it to you?”
“I had one of my sons acquire it from one of your sons.” The Primarch admitted as he gave a small embarrassed chuckle, “It did not seem prudent to let others know I was reading your books until I told you myself.”
