>>6108209As Tanya and Chaya go to leave, the blonde woman muttering something about a new training dummy, you focus your ki sense out as far as it can go. But as you expand your range, further and further to detect familiar energy signatures suddenly you find Arctus.
“Well, let's see if he's made any progress.” you mutter, teleporting directly to him. One minute you're standing in a private room in Dreadzone, the next find yourself in the loud, industrial noise of his droid factory. Seeing him hunched over a work table, and old-seeming computer's screen glowing radioactive green. Cables go from the antique machine to the decapitated head's stump, the one eye glowing with the same green light as the computer.
“You're early. Well done with that monster, I could feel the battle from here when you two picked up the pace.” Arctus says, not even looking up from his typing as he squints at the screen. “But why did Raditz' power suddenly jump?”
“Once the fight was over, he unlocked this form as well.” you say, Arctus stopping at this and turning, looking from his screen to you. His eyes widen a bit in surprise, clearly shocked at your new state. “His wife helped him get control over the Golden Oozaru form, and he got to this same Primal state.”
“I see. So, that's why I could sense your fight from so far away. That makes sense.” he says, then in a flash transforms, drawing and activating his energy saber much like King Cold's own as he surges to his feet instantly, the blade inches from your throat. “But are you truly Karn? Or did that bastard hitch a ride in your mind, coming here to stop me from uncovering a method to truly defeat you?”
“No, the Tuffle King's dead. Chaya killed it with a blast of ki.” you tell him, not moving as he holds the tip of his weapon steady. “I had my son revert Raditz back to how his body was before we chopped his tail off, and he regained control over the Oozaru's rage. And, even better, Towa managed to kill the parasites left behind in Raditz, Redis, and their unborn son.”
“Good. Very good.” he says, deactivating his weapon and using telekinesis to pull his seat off the floor, sitting back down. “This security's the toughest I've ever seen. I was expecting to have it done already, but I haven't made any progress whatsoever.”
“Hold on, really? You haven't even put a dent in it?” you ask, genuinely surprised. “Is its security really that tough?”
