When you were certain that no one was paying any attention to you, brandished your vibranium-coated knife, aimed it at Max, and whipped it towards his leg with a flick of your wrist. You watched it slice through the air as it twirled end over end, patiently waiting to see whether or not you’d hit your mark.
You weren’t sure what you were expecting, but it certainly wasn’t the spray of blood that resulted from the thrown knife sinking deep into Max’s thigh. He let out a cry of pain and staggered backward. Shocker seemed just as surprised as his partner had been. Both were gaping stupidly at the thrown weapon, watching the sparks dance across it’s metal surface, and the blood seep into the green suit.
He still bleeds. Good to know.
Right as you were preparing to pounce on them, another projectile came flying out from the stands. A thick, tether-like cable whipped around like a bola and tangled itself around Max’s legs and torso, preventing him from removing the knife and leaving him struggling on-stage.
You whirled around to find another squad of mercenaries approaching the stage with weapons raised. These guys seemed to be wearing and carrying much more expensive gear. They somewhat resemble Spartans from Halo with their bulky combat armor.
Some glanced at you dubiously, but most of them kept their attention trained on the other two. Several more projectiles were fired out of under-barrel launchers, and Max suddenly found himself bound in a thick, foam-like substance. He was struggling wildly now, screaming his lungs out before the foam could reach his mouth. All this was apparently preventing him from pulling the knife out or attacking in any meaningful way.
Alright, you take back what you thought about these guys being completely incompetent.
What will you do now?
>Pile onto the assault by webbing up Max as best as you can.>Focus on Shocker to prevent him from helping his partner.>Call in Flint to attack someone.(Shocker/Max/Wild Pack)>Hang back and let these guys do their thing. You’ll be lucky if both sides can wipe each other out.>Write-in.Pastebins:
