>>5873593The N.O.D.R Army 17th Logistics Battalion. Normally you wouldn't expect a man like Aleksandr Krolik Mosin to be here. After all he was as professional a pilot the army could train. Almost an elite level from the perspective of some.
What could be really expected of him achieving anything here? Well it was his choice in a sense. After his original Special Warfare Training Corps was disbanded he was relegated to an instructor position in various places around the country. He could've simply been honorably discharged and get work somewhere else considering he had reached a fine rank of Senior instructor or even promoted into the Commanding ranks.
However, he didn't feel he was up to it just yet. Still good to be done and the chicanery in the upper ranks that resulted in how behind the N.O.A.F was didn't call him to attention yet. He'd leave it to the other ex-members of SWTC who were more inclined to try something.
Somehow, the Logistics work took him back to the heat of battle just like all those years ago. He didn't miss it but if his skills could be used to help the younger gen with less experience emerge on top he'd gladly mount the old crocodile and come back in the fight.
His only problem? All the mercenaries going around thinking they own the place and are full of themselves. Sure some were decent and actually respectable and he was thankful for them. But most of them were an unruly terrible mess of dogs of war with a leash made of thin string most of which lacked discipline.
For now. He only had words for the men who came back from airfield mission. Mosin couldn't participate for various reasons but he knew the soldiers would get the job done one way or the other. And he wasn't found wanting. The least he could do despite the arduous days coming was give the troops a pat on the back and a hopeful boost in morale.
Walking to where the boys and girls were having a less then "fancy" picnic he arrived. The command of "at ease" was given by Cpl. Zvonimir. Even though such courtesy wasn't really needed for him he acknowledged and told them to carry on.
"You all need to eat and rest while you can kids, after all we may be still on homefield but it doesn't mean were out of woods yet. I'll give my speech and then let you all dig in peace. You've earned it."
And yet they were still silent awaiting the talk. Sheepish Melnyk, rowdy Andreev, Sobol, some stalwart of Stalnoy platoon even some from the new Umbrella teams, Brakon and Dazzle were awaiting his words before they kept digging in. Now that's some discipline.
*Sighing lightly* "Well I won't bore you too long then."
