Lex just squints at Ben like he's a total dumbass. "Dude, we need you to come with us. Like, right now, if you don't mind?" He gestures in the direction of where your escape is.
"Well, I don't want to disappoint them! Surely, they'll let me go after I give them some. You know how needy people can be about the meds they want!" Benjamin coos. "If you don't mind, I'm a bit busy here."
What the fuck? You don't think he understands the situation he has gotten himself in. Though, as you look at him closer, you see a nasty gash across his forehead that still trickles a bit of blood here or now. He might actually have a fucking concussion.
You're so close to your goal. You just need to find a way to make him come with you that hopefully doesn't involve him kicking and screaming. You try to figure out a way to convince him.
