Near the beginning of the Oberon route, Princess Cady gets into a rivalry with Oberon and wants to use the Jedi Holocron to show him up, but the player finds out it's not accessible. Now that I think about it, there was a line in L+L about the librarian's padawan having been killed a day before the game's story begins. It was mentioned as part of the in-game justification for why the player can't acquire the holocron until several more flags are set. Is that why I didn't remember Triss being a character from L+L? Was she not in the game because she had already been killed? Does that mean that because I arrived a day earlier than Princess Cady would have arrived, I stopped Triss from dying when Jorma Gon was trying to steal the holocron? But someone already knew I was going to arrive a day ahead of schedule and told those pirates to attack the ship I woke up on...
