Apparently, the Grandmaster received a crier an hour earlier. One that also, coincidentally, happened to actually come from Geitlandsbyen Castle. This crier it seemed, was a personal squire of the Grandmaster's that he personally entrusts with delivering and taking his messages.
Gentlemen, we've been undone by sheer bad luck and coincidence. The Grandmaster didn't fall for it.
