>>5319581>“I’d like to check in with the Blue Lions as well. It’s been a while since I’ve seen some of them, and frankly, I didn’t think I’d ever get a chance to again.”“In that case, I’ll leave you to it while I visit the Margrave.” Dimitri says. “While I’m there, I’ll smooth over any issues he may have with you having hid your identity. I understand why you would go to such lengths. I’m sure when he hears of the help you provided out on the battlefield, he’ll see fit to not be too upset.”
That’s a relief. You thank Dimitri for his aid in settling matters with Margrave Charon, before him and Dedue take their leave.
“That was one hell of a fight. Saving the Prince of the Kingdom of Faerghus, now that’s a story. I think we’ve about earned ourselves a drink, gang.” Theo says. “If you need us to kill any more guys for you, ‘my lady,’ we’ll be at the local bar getting hammered.” The Killer Trio excuses themselves, before leaving. Corrine moves to follow.
“I believe I’ll join them.” Corrine says. “After all this reckless planning of yours, a drink to take the edge off seems like just what this girl needs.”
>“Huh? Don’t you want to come with me to meet everyone else?” You ask her.“Pass.” The girl snorts. “They’re your friends, not mine. Besides, I should keep an eye on our newly hired talent. They were incredible against the Imperials. Sellswords of that caliber don’t just fall into your lap every day.” She jingles a coin purse in front of you. “Drinks tonight are courtesy of Commander Blair. Start thinking of a name to call our little merry band.” She follows the trio along.
You receive directions to a local inn from the same Charon Knight that informed you about the Blue Lions. It doesn’t take you long to find the place. The Inn serves as a hub for many travelers coming from both the Leicester Alliance, as well as the monastery. The place is brimming with people when you first walk in. The same nervous energy that you saw outside in Charon fills this place. As you scan the inn for any trace of your friends, someone tall places their arm around you from behind.
“Surely my eyes deceive me! Unless…has fate finally brought us back together? Why even the might of the Imperial Army could not keep us apart!”
>“Hello, Sylvain. Feel free to keep your hands to yourself.”“But how could I resist?!” The boy cries, mocking a wound. “You have no idea the long marching and fighting I went through to find my way back to y-oww!” The boy’s arm releases you and his ear is yanked by another familiar sight.
“Honestly, I’d have thought Garreg Mach going up in flames would instill some sense of seriousness in you, but apparently I was mistaken.” Ingrid chastises. “Would you leave this poor girl alone!” She interrupts herself as she notices you for the first time, mouth wide in shock. “You!"
