After researching for a while, you find that people have been posting about it on message boards and other social media sites, but they are pretty much being ignored and called schizos or larpers. You find some fruitful discussion about it, but it mostly gets lost in the static of the critics. Other people are mostly saying the same things you've already heard, talking about the different factions and the faction they ultimately chose. Most people online seem to have selected swords.
Eventually, you find that someone posted an odd-looking link. Your curiosity gets the better of you and you click on it. You're taken to a black webpage with red trim. The page is completely blank except for a pop-up in the middle. It says <span class="mu-s"><span class="mu-r">Patron Name</span></span>. Beneath those two words is a blank text bar awaiting your entry.
You think about it for a second... Maybe they mean Taig? You try typing it in and hit enter. The pop-up blinks, and it says domain: staves. The pop-up disappears after a few second and the, then a simple BBS forum appears.

<span class="mu-s">Staff Combat</span>: <span class="mu-i">Tutorials and tactics on effective use of a staff in combat.</span>
<span class="mu-s">Meet ups</span>: <span class="mu-i">A forum for meeting other staff users in your area. Warning, we have no way of knowing if we have been infiltrated. Meet with caution.</span>
You'd like to look at it more, but sadly it's time to go to work.
