Dinner is as delicious as usual. Herta was grabbing onto your arm, all of your wives were pretty happy. You decide now was a good time to announce your plan to stay with Ayane for tonight.
"Hehe~ You really know your way to get into a girl's heart, Master." Mel said, giving you a warm smile.
"It's not surprising for Master to already be meeting important business connections~" Rose said, probably thinking you were there to make a better impression with Ayane's father.
"Master will take her for himself!" Said Herta with approval. "We'll come back soon!"
"You're staying here too." You said.
"Wha-" Herta looked at you in disbelief. "Bu-bu-bu-but..."
"One night isn't going to kill you, Herta." You don't know what the big deal was, didn't she want you to get more wives? Besides, just this morning you'd given her some 'punishment' until she was satisfied. Actually, you'd basically 'helped' all of your wives 'get ready' earlier today before taking such a long trip...
"Master, can- *sniff* can we see you in the morning?" She requested.
"Sure, as long as it's early on." You were gonna meet with the Hisashi at around 9:30 AM, so it shouldn't cause too much of an issue. Still she seemed on the verge of tears. You brought her closer and consoled her with some insults and a promise to reward her later if she behaved. That seemed to do the trick, she got happy again like nothing even happened.
"You ladies can have the bunk beds." You said. They were one-person beds that were individually divided, three top-bunks and three bottom-bunks.
"Eh, Master," Mel spoke out. "No offense, but that room is a little awkward." The rest of your wives seemed to more or less agree.
Thinking about it, the position of the room doesn't allow for good air circulation, the mattresses weren't the best for multiple reasons, and there weren't any windows there.
You were a Savant, if you could defy the laws of physics with the BoatMech's weapon interior, then within this ship you could even make separate rooms for each individual wife of yours if you wished.
"We brought a bunch of sleeping bags--at least one for each of us--just in case." Ruby reminded you. Those sleeping bags were brought in case something happened to the cabin with the beds, and not the other way around.
"Originally I was gonna just deal with it. But if Master isn't gonna be here then, like, what's the point?" Bertha clarified. "And I didn't wanna say anything cause we were already done with the boat..."
"In the future, if something bothers any of you, just tell me." You say, and get some positive confirmations and apologies in response. "We can arrange something else in the meantime. Each of you can claim a separate room in this ship." You said.
"Dibs on the mess hall." Meowed Cattleya.
And so the ship was temporarily divided between your wives, each of them claiming a separate room. Things like the bathroom and, funnily enough, the bunk-bed cabin were left unoccupied.
