<span class="mu-i">"It's okay ems, I live with my pappy and baba too and their house is just as big as yours,"</span> you said.
<span class="mu-i">"Hnnnn???</span>
<span class="mu-i">"R-really???</span>
<span class="mu-i">"No way!!!</span> the Little Ones respond.
Their pappy smiled and began to speak.
<span class="mu-i">"That's right, Little Ones! When Big Boss drove away the meanies around a thousand seasons ago, he decided to live with Us so We helped build the very house his Little Ones still live in! Of course, his house was bigger than the houses We used to live in, Big Boss was bigger than Us after all, but these new houses that everybody's pappy and baba built are actually much larger than the ones We used to sleep in!"</span>
<span class="mu-i">"Hnn? But Pappy, when we visited the hammock, the hotel was so big! Isn't that the Emperor's house???"</span> asked a Little One.
Their pappy laughed, <span class="mu-i">"That's not his house, that's the guest house!"</span>
Even this was new to you, you actually mistook the Hammock Hotel as the Emperor's home.
The night ended when you and your friends returned to the nice pappy's house, though the Little Ones wouldn't stop bothering you with many questions about the house you lived in. Of course, you don't know what the Emperor's house was actually like, so you just told them what your real house was like. They were nonetheless impressed with how similar it was to theirs. When you wanted to go to sleep, the Little One's parents asked them to let you rest because "the Princess has to work hard tomorrow too!"
You spent the next few days helping the village get the paddies ready for planting rice. Moochy tagged along getting muddy but also making friends with some of the bison helping with the paddies. Every evening when you returned, you spent time with the Little Ones sharing "My Hand Is For the Boy I Love!!!" stories. On the third morning when it was time for you to leave, the Little Ones cried as they didn't want you to go. They presented you with a bracelet of snailshells, collected from the many snacks they found for you and Bubu to eat, a Memory of your time as their guest (though their Baba probably helped them make it). Kari received a necklace made up of the scales of the sacred pinecone (that the very same Baba also helped make).
As you were too busy with your labors throughout the day to make a gift for these Little Ones, you instead opted to hand copy one of your "My Hand Is For the Boy I Love!!!" stories. The particular episode you gifted them was the one where the dreamy boy was...
>A Prince on his youthful journey falling in love with a village girl during a labor day.
>A Sleeping Demon learning the virtues of waking up and cherishing every moment with the girl who woke him.
>A Halfie Boy who was growing tall and had to join the Bravie Legion and leave his childhood friend behind but promising to marry her.
>Write-in.
