She was an enemy officer in the losing army, and one that was responsible for many of the Hellwing's victories, including their most recent sacking of Charon. She's more than happy to keep a lower profile. She's safer in Blair's wing after all. For her now, the biggest concern is raising Rex's child dutifully and in a safer world. Rex himself never cared about succeeding Charles, so it was likely something she never cared about herself.

Marina would have actually been the Shelley replacement. She made a cameo at Gronder. I came up with her character back when I was sure that we'd go CF. McCarthy would have been a Hellwing that left them to work for you. He's actually the one that hands over the Flame Lance gift that Rex gives you after the Battle of the Eagle and Lion. There weren't many others that I had pre-planed though, but in the case of Corrine, she would have been a Wyvern Knight in CF. The idea being that since Blair was given command of a pegasus unit, Corrine learned how to ride a wyvern to keep up. Pegasi unfortunately wouldn't care much for her. But when we went SS, I scrapped that and made her a War Cleric instead. I'm sure I had a good reason for doing that at the time!
