First thing first, you devoted most of your time for your newly found legacy-foundation.
The technique is insanely good and well-fit for you : your body constitution have always been a weak point of yours with the notable exception of your legs, heavily reinforced by your Unlimited Rising Star Kick. You won your various fights by prowess alone, but sooner or later Dhundan will outclass you in terms of Strength, or LienWen JiaLin in terms of Dexterity, or maybe Sin Din can outspeed you - that is, before you stumbled on that inheritance. Draining your Spiritual Might to bolster your Strenght through your Astral Self seems a ridiculously good fit for your own abilities and what you need. And that's just scraching the surface of the technique - many insight hide inside. Nothing much to side on your meditation - it was unlikely to astral travel again just a few days after this bountiful trip anyway, right?
You allocate a bit of your stockpiled Qi to keep your experiments - after all, the last quarter of a minor realm is when energy rises the most and the more easily - this is as good time as any for playing with your Qi. Sadly, you dissipate once more energy without any tangible results - despite feeling you can definitely figure it out. But how fast? All your friends and rival already broke through : first Dhundan and Ai, Yi Norm at the beginning of the week; and Man Din just now. Only Sin Din and yourself are left behind.
You still accumulated more than you dilapidated, though.
You also spent quite a bit of time in your Immortal Cave - or on top of it, in the soil carried by your Wandering World-Tree.
There, you attempted to plant the Yuzu on the hill, and tend for it.
Sadly, you know much about weening a wolf-cub, healing a horse's wounded leg, or hatch a batch of Hawks. Not so much about the exact care for a Spiritual Plant. You didn't killed the plant, but it's far from looking fine. Are you confident in your own ability? Or paying for professional help will be the safer option? The time spent working outside and worrying about something else than yourself distracted you from your worries for a time : one of them being Dhundan.
Unrelentlessly, he asks for your help for "secret stuff" the day before the tournament. And he's not taking "no" for an answer. You asked one of the sect's gardener about the right amount of water for a small Yuzu tree and you wanted to moisturize more the soil; you won't make it with your forced enrollment.
"So what was that so-secret favor you wanted?
- I want you to fuse a spirit for me.
- As if I could do that.
- I know you can. And you did to Yi Norm. No way he could figure out the "army" thing by himself.
- Alright, alright... Show me what you have.
- The Mighty black Lion-maned Snake I got during Transplanhumance to fuse to my Mighty Black Pangolin Spirit
- That doesn't work like that.
- You're trying anyway.
- Your funeral."
