“What? Is it like…onions for vampires?” Reese asked.
Blade opened his mouth to protest, and then shut it again, a thoughtful expression on his face. “You know, that’s actually not a bad way to put it. Once you take it enough times, you’ll barely even notice the difference between that and real blood.” he said. “Consider yourself lucky. The more addicted you are to human blood, the worse your reaction will be when you take it for the first time. I hear that it feels worse than death.”
“How is that any different from how I feel now…?” she moaned, clutching her stomach.
Blade grinned at her. “I bet you don’t feel that hungry anymore, huh? No blood cravings.”
Louise cast a murderous glance at him.

Eventually, Louise managed to pull herself together, and she decided to stay with Strange for a while longer until Blade was fully prepared to take her under his wing. He left her with a few more vials, which she was required to take daily.
You were hoping that you wouldn’t have to get called up for another force-feeding session, but Louise was at least looking a lot more lively than she had been these past few days.
Part of you was glad that she wouldn’t be leaving yet, since you wanted her to be there when the Silvertongue clone was done cooking. And judging from the texts you were getting from Warren, that would be happening any day now.
—--------
Over the next few days, you found yourself unusually busy, running to and fro, double and triple checking with your various contacts on Silvertongue and Chameleon related problems. So when the day finally came for the clone to be unveiled, it almost didn’t feel real.
You found yourself bracing for some great tragedy to unfold; waiting for the other shoe to drop. But…it never did. The Silvertongue clone was nearly identical to the original, their demeanor being the only noticeable difference. There was a calm, collected confidence about her, as if she knew exactly what she was born to do, and knew full well how to achieve that purpose.
All eyes fell on her as she entered the mansion, but you reserved your attention for the people who had come to witness this event. Daredevil, Moon Knight, Rintrah, Sister Grimm, Louise, Reese, Tigra, Sun King, Madame Webb, Julia, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Valkyrie, Miles Warren, Pandora, and of course…Cindy Moon.
Like you, your young ward was in full costume. Neither of you were entirely comfortable with revealing her identity to this many people all at once. You didn’t entirely trust everybody in this room.
Cindy’s full mask made her expression entirely unreadable, so you nudged the guy next to you to get his personal take on the matter.
