Finally, once more, did the Primarch come about a moment of rest. Really though he was enjoying the scheming out of plans for the extermination of the Orks. Sadly though it came to an end.
Already TalOS had commissioned a series of fortifications to be built. Such unusual designs were necessary for their operations to work properly. Ten should be enough based on the words of Matthais but TalOS had commissioned fifteen of the air to surface fortresses to be administered. One could not be too careful.
TalOS walked through the halls of the Blackstone Fortress. There was one location where TalOS was wanting to visit for some time. TalOS knew he had made it when the blackened armored Astartes got up to give TalOS the sign of the Cog.
As if they were all waiting for the chance TalOS was soon surrounded on either side by Astartes. It was as if TalOS had called for a parade formation. TalOS only had a moment to realize that the few Acillians with them acting confused told the Primarch this was indeed impromptu.
“Go back to your duties and leisure.” TalOS told the assembled group of Astartes with the firmness his sons likely expected from him.
It was rather odd seeing the Astartes looking rather confused at TalOS as he said that. As if the concept of leisure did not register with their minds. TalOS would chock that up to a programming quirk of the Astartes judging as they were watching the Acillians demonstrations of weapon rituals.
The only one who seemed to get into his brother’s heads was ED1SON, who had placed a weapon part into an Astarte’s hands and subtly told him to put the weapon together.
It was in the middle of this place that TalOS found them, Legion Master Vadar and Prime Mitarii AL4N looking over an eradication ray. Before the Astartes stood in solute TalOS raised his hand to stop the motion, “How is everyone enjoying thei exercise?”
“We are making moderate progress, Father.” The Acillian told his Primarch with a subtle smile on his face, “Legion Master Vadar was able to finish the assembly of a Volkite Blaster so we have moved up to the Eradication Ray.”
“That is good, and what do you think of the task yourself Vadar.”
The Astartes held himself for a moment as he checked his words just like his father would, “I find it satisfactory Father.”
“Is that so, show me what you have learned.” TalOS told the Astartes as he sat down next to his Astartes.
