Not long into the week you heard Ruby Rose's voice echo from the speakers, telling word of a kitsune airship that had contacted her through the radio tower. The crew, after identifying themselves as Hisashi's worker's, requested permission to land in the hangar. Soon after you gave them clearance another airship landed in your hangar less than a few days after your fluffy family left your estate.
Stepping out of the large airship was a kistune who introduced himself as Tamotsu. He spoke in perfect Common and shook your hand, greeting Ayane in the same way. He held himself to a more professional standard than his father Hisashi; this fact reminded you that he's Ayane's brother and in turn making him related to you.
"It is an honor to finally meet the man that rid my family of such a terrible curse." He said politely with a businesslike smile. "In case you're wondering why I'm here; father lent me some manpower to transfer the propeller airship." He was succinct, motioning to the cargo hold the airship he just came out of. "This may take some time, so if you'll excuse me."
"Don't worry about that." You replied. "I'll have it taken out myself."
You called Cattleya and Bertha who, bringing along some of your clankers, took out the propeller airship with some token assistance from Hisashi's crew.
First impressions of your new propeller airship revealed that it was more of a pseudo-airplane than the helicopter-like vehicle you envisioned from Hisashi's description. There was a clear attempt to phase out usage of the balloon that most airships had, but the designer seemed to have given up somewhere halfway through and slapped a giant balloon in the middle with a few propellers in the front and back. Yet there was an experimental modular propeller that could be placed above it— consequently making it look more like a helicopter.
"While I can't personally think of why one would want such a fascinating vehicle, I'm certain that it has more than a few uses to Savants." Tamotsu commented.
"It does." You responded vaguely. "Now that that's done, would you like to come by and have something to eat? Maybe you can catch up with Ayane."
"I'm afraid there is business which demands my immediate attention." He said without changing his cordial business-like expression. "Make no mistake, I would take your offer otherwise." He looked between you and Ayane. "Sister, Lord Doe; I hope you both have a pleasant day."
And with that he took Hisashi's crew and went back from whence he came.
Some time after he left you asked Ayane what his deal was. Your vixen replied that "He isn't a bad person. He's just a little guarded around everyone". She also spoke of how he was never fond of business, preferring artistic things to commerce.
Either way, you and Herta were left to eagerly inspected and tested out the propeller airship.
You and the goddess attempted to get a mental idea on how to make an airplane.
