You see your sister grin before taking off, you both dashing away from your parents. You don't want to give Doom access to your father while he's resting, as she no doubt doesn't want to fight that hulking behemoth by your family either. Even aware of what's going on around him, Father still needs to focus on recovering. And you don't doubt Doom will try and take him out, if given the chance. You need to fight him yourself, keep him occupied so he can't harass your allies with his magics.
“Then again, he's probably thinking the same about me.” you mutter, ricocheting off rock formations as you close in on Doom's ki signature. Having not moved far from where you sent him before. Perhaps your Kaio-Ken enhanced attack did more damage than you'd thought? However, as you approach, you slow down, moving more carefully. Having seen a wide array of magical traps back home, you don't want to recklessly rush into any traps he's lain down to catch you by surprise. Closing in, closer and closer, until suddenly a strange blast of emerald energy bursts forth from the last pile of arena between yourself and Doom. Strange, circular rings shoot through it in a ray, directly at you. Which you roll and avoid, only for the falling debris of that pile to all get sent flying directly at you. Powering up, golden aura blazing you swing your right arm in a backfist motion, the force of your blow shattering the rocks and scattering the tiny chunks back towards Doom. Who raises a wall up of the arena floor, intercepting the pieces then sending the giant slab right back at you. “Tch!”
With only a second to react you leap into the air, jumping just over the slab only for Doom to fire that same swarm of electrical orbs as before from his fingertips, launching around a score of them towards you. Midair you can't dodge, and in a flash you transform into your Archon form.
“Crystal Magic Sealer! Barrage!” you shout, swinging your arms back and forth. Unleashing a barrage of your magic-absorbing crystals down at the shocking balls of electricity. Each one that your crystals strikes is absorbed, a dozen of his attacks making it through, while a half-dozen of your own crystals make it through as well. Doom's barrier gets absorbed into your crystals as the balls of magical electricity strike, but just before they do, you unleash another spell. “Crystal Armor!”
