The Angel seemed to think long and hard as he studied his brother, “The gifts that I hold, you are impervious to. Even here it is hard for my eyes to really know that you are here before me.”
“What do you see?” TalOS asked as he was very much curious in the matter.
“A dark void which walks the stars. A void in which nothing can truly be seen.” The truthful words of Sanguinius were spoken when his eyes focused upon TalOS.
“Hmm, the type of vision you see.” TalOS began to ask as he knew enough about psykers to take a guess, “Is it the emotions of a person, their fate, or maybe it is that you see the soul itself.”
“Why do you ask?” The Angel asked the Dragon as he leaned forward, “What is it are you trying to learn?”
“In the early years of my life there was a conglomerate of Xenos known as the Mitu Collective who were able to see into the future.” TalOS told his brother as he decided to indulge his brother in a small bit of knowledge, “They were able to see every movement that I committed myself to and all the schemes that I had planned. Only by gaining and using the Blackstone Fortress was I able to get an upper hand upon this witchcraft. I need to know if the Warp knows of my fate any more.”
The Angel looked upon his brother with a sense of understanding to those words and measured them for himself. TalOS could tell his brother was wondering if he should answer the question. If there was a need to keep secrecy for what he could do.
“As I had said, you are a void. You do not need to hold that worry any more.” Sangiunius told his brother in what TalOS felt was a slight sorrowful joy. Such a mix of emotions was impossible to quantify and TalOS could not make much sense of them as a Pariah or as a Primarch.
It was truth though. TalOS had succeeded.
“Thank you very much brother. I ask that whatever is spoken here is kept, for I know you wish the same.” Dragon suggested to the Angel while raising his mug of B33R.
“I shall do so, brother.” Sanguinius answered as the two beverages clanked against one another.
