>>5378190Scanning the area for the brainwashee, who you thought had been standing off by one of the cells this whole time, the collared woman is nowhere to be found. Not even that odd, unnatural heartbeat is anywhere to be found, but the pulse had been sluggish enough that you'd have a hard-enough time keeping track of it as it is.
While you wanted to see if you could snap that woman out of her brainwashing, even if you'd be pushing your luck with how the guards are closing in on you, you suppose you're not going to get that chance at the moment.
“Cannibal-- we need to move!" Valjean's voice snaps you back to reality. "Want to get caught in this place or not?"
Not wanting to linger and rushing forwards once more, you extend your senses in all directions. Behind you, some of the guards that had failed to be deterred by Boleski's acid seem to be making headway. There are guards in front as well, weaving their way around the various wings of the prison as they make haste to your location.
Lastly, just up ahead and to the right is some sort of walkway– a four-way bridge of sorts– that, like the glass room, hadn’t been there before. How FutureLabs managed such largescale feats of construction in such a short frame of time is well beyond the scope of your understanding.
>Where go?>Head across the walkway– even if it's not empty, it's open space, much easier for you guys to maneuver on!>Head forwards! You can beat the guards before they reach you!>Teleport to [next floor/bottom floor/Conduit's floor]– you might not be finished with this floor, but you gotta keep moving before they reboot the system or something!>Try to look for the brainwashee-- if she's following her masters' orders, then she couldn't have gotten far!>Write-in>(2/2)
