“I'm not one to keep someone away from their own blood.” Elder Pybara says, then holds up a finger. “However, not all of them will be ready for my training. Or even capable of participating. Would that be alright?”
“I don't see why not.” you answer him, then suddenly sense Soba returning behind you. But he's not alone, you turning to face your oldest daughter. “So, you're heading out once more. Sure you don't want to spend time here training with us?”
“I'm sure.” Chaya replies, that same fire of determination burning in her eyes. “I have a score to settle, after all. And starting back at the bottom, it's gonna take me at least two years before I can challenge her for my title back. So I'd better get started sooner, rather than later.”
“Alright. Let me know when you're ready, and I'll be there.” you say, opening your arms. She looks hesitant for a second before walking over, embracing you. As you hug your daughter you can tell that she's no longer the little girl who'd burned her eyes trying to copy you, or the one who'd danced with Freeza at your wedding. She's a woman now, not a child, and is ready to carve out her own path. “Love ya kiddo.”
“L-Love you too Daddy.” she replies, choking up a little bit. You hold her for a few more seconds, then the two of you release each other simultaneously. “Want me to tell Momma you're gonna be here?”
“No need, I'll tell her myself in a bit.” you reply, then glance up towards where you know your ship the Lucrehulk is still hovering over the planet. “Might have to tell Raven too, see if she still has that portal to the ship above to bring some supplies down.”
“Supplies?” Elder Pybara asks, a warm but confused smile on his face. “If it is food you're speaking of, we have plenty on this world. If you're hungry now, I can show you.”
