“Your stupidly big frame can prove useful, I suppose.” Ava lowers herself and attempts to worm her way beneath the thick cloth of your military jacket. “This is kind of lewd.”
“..A-ah.. yes, of course..” Noelle murmurs as she hesitantly presses in close underneath you. “Oh, wow..”
You had caught worry that two women so close to your chest might make you fluster, but they both prove so cold to the touch that it’s difficult to feel much besides uncomfortable. They shift and wriggle about beneath your coattails and you feel some hands at strange places. “What are you doing..?!” You hiss, but the berserker nudges you with a shoulder plate.
“Quit playing around. They’re here.” She grunts.
You recognize the portent–anyone would. The rhythmic clop of horse hoof, the jangle of steel and gunpowder, the black hats with arrowhead-like points. A figure atop a mare approaches from the crumbling, sinking stone building ahead–sitting tall and proud atop her noble steed, her sable noble garb trailing behind her. A choir mask guises her steely eyes. A member of the Auf Arsene, whose presence is an omen of monsters.
“..Well met.” The woman greets you from atop her black steed. “I am Millicent, of the Auf Arsene.”
