Cat’s grin widened. <span class="mu-b">“Think bigger. You can construct plant barriers that block projectiles and fold onto the sides of the ship when you aren’t using them. You can create a canopy that hides members of your crew during the fight and shields you all from the sun. There’s endless possibilities here!”</span> she proclaimed. <span class="mu-b">“But you’ve gotta take your time, draw out some proper blueprints, and do the math. If you don’t then this thing won’t make it a single mile out at sea.”</span>
Grover’s cheeks went red and he hung his head in shame. He was clearly embarrassed by his lack of oversight, but he seemed more upset with himself than any of you. Finally, he nodded and lifted his head.
<span class="mu-g">“You are right. I was too hasty in the Verdant Voyager’s construction. I just…I just wanted Hook and his men to pay for what they’d done!”</span> he exclaimed, clenching his hands in frustration.
<span class="mu-b">“And they will. You just need to be a bit more patient.”</span> Cat pleaded.
<span class="mu-r">“She’s right.”</span> you said, stepping forward. <span class="mu-r">“If you took your time with this thing, it’d be an absolute monster of a ship!”</span>
Grover smiled weakly at that. <span class="mu-g">“I suppose there are few modifications that I can make while I wait.”</span> he admitted.
<span class="mu-g">“Great. But how do you plan to get this thing back to the tree fort?”</span> Peter Pan asked.
Grover's smile widened, then. He closed his eyes and brought his arms up, causing the clearing around you to shake and rumble. Felicia backed away cautiously as the entire ship started to move. Then, the Verdant Voyager lifted into the air, its mossy underside completely propped up by a series of thick vines and tree limbs that resembled legs.
<span class="mu-g">“Onward!”</span> he commanded. And the ship moved in the direction that he pointed his leaf blade in. In the direction of the Lost Boy’s tree fort.
<span class="mu-b">“Well there’s something you don’t see every day.”</span> Callisto said as the rest of you stared at the retreating land ship, with Peter Pan flying directly beside it.
