You would have time to visit Dalaran if you were to take your horse Epona and ride there faster than the horse carts Lord Blackmoore was using were travelling. You thought about doing this for a moment and then decided that you would do it because of two reasons. First you wanted to see how Master Melondras was progressing on making your new armour and secondly you wanted to see Jaina Proudmoore.
You told what you were going to do to one of the servants Lord Blackmoore had taken with him and told him that you wouldn’t be late or delay leaving Dalaran to Capital City before you rode off with Malevus and two of the knights following you just in case.
Riding past the farms and fields you saw more people travelling to and from Dalaran. Last time you visited the city, you hadn’t seen this many people around here so you thought maybe something was going on? Maybe an event? Either way the ride to Dalaran was fast and you thought that you would maybe have a few hours to spend in the city.
…
Approaching the city you first saw the spires in the distance and closer you got, they grew larger until the walls and finally the great gatehouse could be seen.
Outside the gatehouse was a large gathering of people around the taverns and other houses that had been built outside the walls of the city. As you rode towards them, you saw guards in the purple tabards watching the people go through their business and generally just keep up the peace. When one of the guards saw you with a pair of knights and Malevus behind you, he approached you to ask who you are and why are you here?
Answering the guards questions, he quickly sent the word to the gatehouse and in a moment a squad of footmen pushed themselves past the people and helped to escort you through the masses. The guard told you that this week was the traditional peasant’s market week in Dalaran and due to that so many people had travelled here. Either to sell their goods or buy things they might require.
This time going through the great gatehouse went without any issues and there was no overly serious mage staring daggers into your back. Just a clerk that asked why you were here and to take your signature into a logbook he was carrying.
You told the clerk the reason why you were here and asked if a message could be sent to Jaina Proudmoore that you had arrived in the city unannounced. The clerk promised to send someone and welcomed you to the City of Dalaran.
