>>5365772"Arms in the air, ma'am~" Gun pointed straight at the plexiglass, his voice is shrouded in his power. While the gun he's holding is a mere tranquilizer, the woman doesn't seem to know that, slowly and shakily raising her arms into the air.
"Hey--" Bernard says, his teleportation behind the desk causing the woman to jump in her seat. If only because there are four more of you in front of her, she doesn't dare to turn around. "There's a panic button over here!" The teleporter informs you.
"Oh really?" Stepping right up to the desk, the former Crux leader reminds you of a vulture who'd found a particularly juicy piece of carrion. "Listen, ma'am, if you know what's good for you..." He drawls, the smile on his face far too wide to be kind. "You will not touch the panic button, you will not tell anyone we were here-- or that we are here..." Valjean's voice is commanding. "But you will tell us where and how to get to the data centers."
"U-Upstairs." The receptionist stammers out. "They're all upstairs."
"And how much security does this building have?" He questions her.
"We have a security center on floor two, and-- and the BioLock..." The last part is said in a frightened whisper.
"BioLock?" Valjean repeats. "How does that work?"
"I-I-I really don't know-- I'm just a receptionist." Grey eyes bore into their victim as if daring the receptionist to lie, but, under the force of Les Misérables, such an act would be impossible.
"She's telling the truth." Valjean tells you after a couple of moments. "Guess it's time to put you out of your misery..."
"What?!" The receptionist yelps, looking on the verge of a heart attack. "But I-I told you everything!"
"Did I say die?" Valjean glowers. "I mean SLEEP. Sleep, dammit..." With that, the receptionist falls to the desk like a sack of bricks, dead to the world.
