Grace and Mirjam come to a realization as they are hugging each other.
“…I think we said something really embarrassing.” Grace has a bittersweet moment.
“…Yeah, maybe we should’ve keep that to ourrrrselves.” Mirjam agrees 100%. Once that’s stated, they stop embracing each other.
“Sorry, I didn’t catch that. I was worried about the duck. I need to go to a meeting and I’m not sure what to do with it.” You apologize for being an airhead.
“Oh thank god…” The tomato duo sigh in relief.
“I’m not following.” You feel like they’re happy leaving you out of the loop! How could they? After everything that you’ve done together. Your heart aches.
“It’s fine, it’s something lame Mirjam said.” Grace dismisses your worries.
“B-But you also said it.” Mirjam doesn’t understand this unforeseen betrayal.
“Uuuuuuh…” Grace is loading. “That ain’t important! The lil’ ducky is!”
“We can take care of him if you like. Grace is great with animals!” Mirjam praises her sister’s abilities!
“Heehee, yeah, I am.” Grace opens the bathroom door and let’s the wild animal escape. And by escape, you mean look at you from his impromptu bed with wonder. “C’mere lil’ fella! Mommy Grace will take care of you!” Your lovely pigtailed darling opens her arms like she did for you.
“Quack.” The Duck finds comfort in her arms, as Naiad jumps on your shoulder.
“See? What a good lil’ ducky.” Grace starts showing affection to the bird.
“Um, if we’re not going to school, we better change.” Mirjam realizes that going out in their school uniform might prove problematic.
“Yeah, snitches are everywhere!” Grace agrees! “Phil, could you wait for us outside? We’ll be right with you in a second!”
“Sure! I’ll be waiting!” You step outside.
…
…
…
You saw them naked, why couldn’t you stay…?
You dismiss your little annoyance and marvel at this place’s incredible architectural engineering! How has this building not collapsed yet is beyond you! In your opinion, the Sand Castles from yesterday are sturdier than this shit.
“I knew it was you… It couldn’t have been anyone but you.” Oh no. It’s your cheating former wife, err, the lady you returned the truck key to – the same one who was forcefully taken away from the store yesterday. The weary yet focused look in her eyes, the heavy panting and her disheveled outfit makes her look unhinged. “I heard everything, you barefaced deviant. Everything single thing. The depravity, the intensity – the boldness of your lust. For the entire night, you kept going incessantly, these thin walls couldn’t keep your passion down… All it did was taunt me. I can’t hold it in anymore, I want in.”
You notice the door behind her wide open… That must be her room. Uh oh…
