As they finished speaking the subtle shaking of the ground caught the two’s attention. It was not hard seeing what had caused it where a large machine shambled towards them with a quakening pace. The Acillian rose from his seat as the Dreadnaught finally made it to them.
“It appears that your systems are in order.” Said the Acillian as he got close enough, “Does the Machine Spirit speak of issues?”
“It does not.” The machine answered simply as it finally came to a stop.
“Blessed be the Machine, it has been operating for several days straight so one could easily fear its state.” L3KT kneeled before the Dreadnaught and took out a small cable, “Grace me for a moment of access while I commit the Ritual of Maintenance.”
“It is given.” The Dreadnaught answered simply.
Upon those words the Acillian began to speak in the language of the Priesthood. Lorch could understand it perfectly fine but he knew it did not concern him. He cannot say he has a great attachment to the cult and their rituals, but there was a kinship whenever he looked upon one of the Knights. His vision turned towards the Dreadnaught.
“Have you been holding yourself well Artur?” The Captain asked as he looked upon the great machine, “Has your taste been satisfied?”
“It has.” He answered before holding back a declaration for a moment, “This has been the longest time I have been operational. At moments like these I have been told that I should have been consumed by the Machine Spirit. I have not been consumed.”
The Captain looked sternly upon the Dreadnaught as he gave a moment’s thought, “Is it similar?”
“Too similar.”
“I have… heard from Legion Master Vadar of a theory. That we are closer to the God Machines than our other brotherin. Do you think this is accurate?”
“It is true. It calls to me more than even the Machine Spirit of my Coffin, but they are the same.”
>Then we use the approved methods of TalOS, you shall labor.
>We will have this communicated with the Higher ups.
