“Such destruction. I wonder what a blast like that would do to a city.” Demiurge says, you glancing aside to him as the demon strokes his chin. “And its occupants. Would there be any survivors?”
“What lovely fireworks!” Shalltear says, you looking to her and seeing her face slightly blushed.
“Such a display! Hey, Mare. Don't you have any spells that can cause explosions like that?” Aura asks her brother, Mare nervously clutching his staff to his chest while shaking his head.
“N-No. Nothing that spectacular.” Mare replies timidly. The two cross-dressing dark elves are quite opposites in near every regard, from dress to personality. “No spell I even know of can make something like that.”
“It is not a display of magic, but one of ki. On a level I've never imagined.” Sebas says, the usually-quiet old man butler says as he looks up into the slowly dying inferno still raging overhead.
“And how would you compare him, to his son?” you ask, turning to the old man but seeing the answer clear as day on his face. You know his main class is Monk, specialized in utilizing one's ki. In fact, you'd brought him along for this very reason, and told him so yesterday.
“Lord Ainz, you called?” he'd asked, walking to the throne and kneeling before you. “What is your will?”
“Rise, Sebas. I have need of your....Expertise.” you'd told him, the old butler rising silent but clearly curious. “When my friend Touch Me created you, he chose to create you with the skills and abilities of the Monk class, correct?”
“Yes, Lord Ainz. That is correct.” Sebas answered immediately.
“And as a Monk, I presume you are competent in the use of your body's Ki?” you'd pressed, Sebas again confirming what you already know. Which is good. “Now, tell me: can you sense the ki of other living beings?”
“Yes Lord Ainz. I can measure others' ki against my own, as well as the ki levels I remember from the other Supreme Beings.” he replied, then after a moment's silence added. “Even our...Guest's strength.”
“Yes, you were here when Lord Chilli first arrived to our home.” you answered, stroking your chin while looking down on the elderly man. “Tell me, how strong was he, in your estimation? Do not try and downplay his might for fear of offending me, I must have an accurate gauge of his strength.”
“Very well my lord. He...Lord Chilli, is stronger than anyone I've ever met. Even you, Lord Touch Me, or any of the other Supreme Beings.” Sebas says after a moment, confirming what you'd feared. “Were they here with us when he attacked, we might have possibly prevailed. Maybe.”
