>>6312731Perhaps Arios and Leonora had agreed to an impromptu alliance, and the other two were forced to flee. The Floor Guardian must have been taken out right after.
“A great battle occurred here.” Saoirse says as she looks down upon the crater. “A shame…I would have loved to have been a part of it.”
>“You’re telling me.” You groan. “Why’d that Yasha have to ask me such a stupid question? Starting out here would have been great. At least that way I wouldn’t have had to pass through that piece of shit Floor 4.”“Hey, it all works out for the best.” Butch says, wrapping an arm around you and Saoirse. The man looked unperturbed given the circumstances. “Now we’ve got ourselves a good team. We just gotta keep going and we’ll catch up with the others eventually.”
Saoirse throws the man’s arm off her. “Yes, agreed. Just don’t get too comfortable, we’ll be crossing blades with each other soon enough.”
“Heh, of course.” Butch grins. “You’re a pretty feisty lady, you know? My type. Maybe we could get to know each other better after this is all over.”
“N-no! Absolutely not!” An uncharacteristic blush creeps upon Saoirse’s face. “Don’t look at me as if I’m some common hussy! I’m the First Sword of Sreng! My heart belongs only to one that can prove he is stronger than me. And that is most certainly not you!”
“I wouldn’t be so su-”
>“Enough.” You cut through the chatter. “Look, I can see the warp panel from here. A positive to this floor being torn apart I suppose. Let’s hurry and leave.”The three of you begin walking towards your goal when a sudden sound from behind triggers your combat instincts. You all turn quickly to face the source. A newcomer has arrived on Floor 10, right on the warp panel you’d just come through.
“Woahhhh…this place is messed up.” Crowley remarks, scanning the horizon upon arrival. Upon spotting your group, his eyebrows raise in surprise, before calling out in a friendly manner. “Hey! How’s it going guys?”
“Fuck me.” Butch breathes in awe. “Six fucking badges just showed up.” He unsheathes Blutgang and takes a step forward.”
“Woah! Wait up!” The Dagdan yells, holding his hands out in alarm. “I don’t want to fight! I was actually hoping I’d run into you guys! Honest! Let’s talk!”
“How fortunate.” Saoirse grins, unsheathing Mercurius.
Something was wrong. By all accounts, Crowley had already defeated five other competitors. You’d expect the man that did something like that to be bearing some sort of injury or wound. At least some sort of sign of battle. And yet, the Dagdan looked absolutely pristine. As if he’d defeated all of them without taking a single hit.
>A): Join the others in attacking Crowley.>B): He said he was hoping to run into us. Hear him out.
