Particep Semper looked upon the city for a moment as the shield disappeared. The Primarch who controlled it studied the carnage now with complete understanding and sickness as he felt himself grow hateful.
Those creatures that roamed the streets were not of this world but of the other one. They were not the ones that attacked him though he hated their existence all the same. They were but a stain upon the universe that needed to be destroyed if Humanity was to evolve into a race blessed by the Machine God.
They were the first creatures to die as he released the Quake Cannons upon the crystalline earth below him.
One after another TalOS tore through the buildings and infrastructure of the city, wasting time as he waited for his sons to vacate the city below him. Buildings collapsed and millions died as he was given free reign against the civilian populace. Those who watched the devastation could only describe the attacks as an angry god taking his rage upon the city of infidels.
If you were to ask TalOS, he would tell you that was the case. His sheer anger could only be demonstrated through the guns of Particep Semper and his contempt demonstrated by the ruins that were left behind. He was the Machine God’s will made manifest and it has decided that the Mitu Collective shall hereby end.
+Father, we have vacated the premises.+ The words of Reich Marshal Vadar reached the sensory array of Particep Semper.
In that moment the wrath of the Machine God was turned and in the next second the Sanctum was turned into a massive crater with the full might of the Plasma Annihilator. Satisfaction rolled over TalOS as Particep Semper felt that it had finally drawn the blood it so desired.
That satisfaction gave TalOS enough time to decide the next course of action.
>Blow up the planet, end the war.
>A quick search about the capital of the Xenos for anything vital. After all, signs show that these Xenos grew upon planets terraformed by man.
>Collect some trophies before the death sentence is administered (Kidnaping the leaders of the Collective)
