This rank unlocks spells that, among other things, allow us to banish extraplanar entitities, seal portals, and remove curses. Abjuration is now our most powerful and studied school of magic, fitting given our encounters with hostile forces from beyond the mortal realm.
With magic such as this, we can more capably ward homes, protect from possession, and when the time comes and the demons or devils are found, banish them or even entrap them.
Rank 3 is also the highest possible rank we can achieve for the time being without further tech to support our magical knowledge, namely research-based techs such as writing.
After the tumultuous events of the demonic hyenas, the age of calm returns, and things settle back down. Our people will continue to explore and harvest resources from the newly-explored grasslands, domesticating the colored boars and iguanodons, and harvesting the black mulberries.
The wardens are never seen again for the remainder of the age, keeping to their duties upon the Isle of Exile.
Our naga lord presides over his new five disciples dutifully and diligently, instructing them in the ways of our culture, governance, and religion. Though he is worshiped as the primary deity of the civilization, they will come to find roles within the now-burgeoning pantheon, a concept that has been adopted by our time spent with the demigod we met this age.
As the foremost icon amongst our pantheon, the red naga represents masculine aspects such as power, strength, wisdom, leadership, and through his acts of penitence he represents growth and self-improvement.
Jointly the five female nagas come to represent and exemplify more feminine aspects to be admired and striven towards by both women and men, such as hospitality, fertility, beauty, compassion, and intellect.
As our people grow in number and our population continues to expand, and more and more people come to worship them, their divine power will continue to grow.
And so our society leaves this age behind, and looks towards the next, hopeful that the events of this age and the prior, at least when it comes to demonic interference, will not be repeated.
