You continue to monitor the movements nearby, listening as they come closer and closer. Though you continously glance over to the direction of the movement, whatever is making the noise does not make an attempt to appear or attack. Perhaps they were waiting for you to look away or be at a bigger disadvantage? You didn't have time to play around with any would be bounty hunter or assassin. You stand up and begin to put out the fire, surreptitiously motion to Hien to get ready to move towards the stalker in the bushes.
You pour water onto the fire dousing it with a loud hiss and using the tactics of whoever was following you, use the noise to mask your own movements as you and Hien dash towards the bushes. It seems like you and the sneak were of similar minds as the two of you leap at one another just at the same time. You and the weasel collide in mid air, becoming entagled as you find yourself wrestling for control of a three section staff. You can't help wonder how many weapons this man had and you were honestly surprised how persistent they were. Was it their greed? You didn't know but at the moment, you didn't have time to think about it. With a grunt, you snap the center section of the weapon in two before tossing the weasel aside.
You hear a rattling sound as you see a chain whip arcing in your direction, only to be shattered with one swing of Hien's sword. "I take it this is the bounty hunter you spoke of?" He asks.
"Yeah, didn't take him to be this persistent. Everyone else stays down after the first time." You say as you get up. The weasel stands up, drawing two metal spheres attached together with a long chain. A meteor hammer as it's called. "I can't just let my meal ticket get away." He says. "If I let you go, then my reputation will take a hit and I can't have the competition knowing I've gone soft."
