The question comes up of how much damage it takes for a robot to be 'decommissioned'. Some of the Hive have heard tales of Fazbear using old designs until they were little more than rotting felt, so some try and hope for the best for the Cap'n come morning.
Oh fuck that.
It's delusional thinking. Damage doesn't repair by Night like it does by Day. Foxy being well by day may just be tricks of the Discs Charlie was talking about. The best case scenario is Night Modes just heal a lot slower.
Would Corporate be that patient? JJ is a bit disoriented after digging through an Office full of blood, but the Hive needs time to eat itself from the inside.
>"W-what happened?"
<murmur>We think we killed Foxy.
JJ's eyes widen.
>"Oh. That's... well, that's, that is... I see. But.
>"You're still alive."
You look up shocked that JJ is coming closer. Her voice is frighteningly dry and with the hammer in hand, she makes for a nerve-wracking image.
>"I don't really care if you tried to negotiate, or if it just came to quick blows, but Foxy is a single piece of a big puzzle. If your Unit dies, the entire Pizzeria gets scrapped with you, and they'll send another Hive here to start over with new robots. Everyone inside of you dies, every robot here dies, everything dies. So it has to be okay."
...JJ is taking the pragmatic approach, but she just doesn't understand.
It's easy to forget that despite the child friendly looks, she's still a robot, and is still looking for an ultimate end-goal. She has to have a purpose, gray morality would be too alien...
This won't go anywhere.
<inquiry>What determines violent intent? What can you do with that hammer?
>"I can nail down boards, if it registers at all I'm carrying out an action to hurt someone, even a fellow robot, the limb shuts down. If I make a second attempt, my system will shut down to find the 'problem'. I don't know for how long."
You wonder if Charlie might be able to overwrite that. A question for another time.
Stardust.
Without the fear of the Canine hearing it and jumping at you, you open the Hall Gate. It rattles and groans in protest, but opens properly after a minute.
With JJ at the rear, you open the Door to the Party Room.
...
The Vacuum is there, but thankfully no acid vomit. For now. It seems hard to tell when the thing starts or stops.
No trace of Stardust though.
