Quoted By:
There was surprise in the eyes of everyone as the Emperor looked upon them. His pained eyes scanned the room for a single moment. He settled upon Malcador.
“Malcador is no longer the Sigillite, he shall be known as Malcador the Hero!”
In an instant everyone recognized him as such. The authority of the Emperor so powerful that none will ever question these words. Not even the Chaos Gods would ever be able to take away the Title from Malcador and none would wish to tarnish the title.
He is Malcador the Hero, and will stay the only who is simply known by that Title.
The Emperor knew that he could only say one more set of words. So strong was the curse placed upon him that it would force him to sleep. In this single moment he focused upon the Omnissiah, his eyes piercing the guise that was a fusion to see his son, TalOS.
And thus his words were spoken.
“Humanity will prevail, for I shall watch over it.”
And with those words, his eyes closed.
Rogal Dorn turned towards the Omnissiah, his eyes obvious to the words that he wanted to ask. To it, the Omnissiah shook his head. There would be no curing the Emperor of this curse. Not with his ability. The only person who would be able to unwind a curse laid upon another by the four Gods of Chaos was the Emperor himself.
Time was short now, the Omnissiah knew. He had witnessed all he could witness and needed to return to his duty. As he did so he placed a hand upon the shoulder of Perturabo whose entire world had been shaken just like the Omnissiah.
“You did all you could brother. Both I myself, the Machine God, and your Father are all proud of your accomplishments. We have fought four Gods and won, even if it is at great cost.” He spoke such parting words, “Go and see Rogal, he will say the same.”
Perturabo looked upon the Omnissiah, then he walked forward as suggested. As the two reached one another Rogal hugged Perturabo much to the latter's surprise.
The Omnissiah left. He had given the Emperor’s his parting words and for the most part he agreed with them. Upon the Vengeful Spirit, as he stood above the body of Sanguinius and witnessed the death of a loyal follower, he spoke the words.
“I am the God of Mankind, Horus. You will be the first to feel my wrath.”
