Our decision was to avoid erecting any structures near the alpine forests, which are teeming with record number of grizzly bears this year that our Dajen would be overtaxed to respond to in order to defend the workers. We decided to build higher.
As the central alps were connected to the Mountains of Yore one way or another, we thankfully made a wise decision, as leyline presence was not as heavy thanks to proximity to the Woldorian pantheon's heartland mountain range. There was no clear reports of avalanches peaking in the area from weather data. Landslides taking place down lower, closer to ground level were more common at the time of this writing. Our construction team is able to bore into the mountain and hollow out caves found through the sharp inclines and reinforce them with titanium compounds to build into the mountain. An air pad is being extended off the clip face, capable of extending outwards and retracting back inside, although Psyops possesses no air capabilities at this time. There are smoother mountain passes and slopes along the interior, past the sharp inclines and spiky peaks of the outer faces. We are able to erect a camp as an entry point, cordoning off free access to and from with concrete walls and a gate. The entry point stretches into one of the immediate caves leading to the interior section.
There is little to no risk of exposure to hikers from this point, and the Heer's mountaineer patrols do not often tread the sacred mountains this far. At this point, we are more concerned with offending the Woldorian pantheon by building on their home turf than Bedolfir.
We should dedicate this base to a branch of our Departments. We cannot sustain a nuclear reactor here to meet energy demands, but it may be possible to build an additional teleportation extension in the form of a pylon and arrival chamber.
