Lucian starred at the open maw of Bok and wondered just how devastating that would have been upon him. But that was all he thought about it, for it seemed that Morr had blessed his servant with additional life.
A low, long breath came from the giant, then the beast exhaled. Flickers of Lucian’s blood flew from the nose and landed on his face, the stains covering his pale skinned face.
Then, like the puppeteer remembering his puppet, the giant began to move once again.
Lucian found himself following the Kroxigor up. The two rising to their full heights above the forest floors but below the massive canopy of trees. He could tell there that the monster was thinking, but what was it thinking?
“Bok, you know it's me, right? It’s Lucian.” Lucian decided to ask the monster.
It gave a low growl to his words, a sense of annoyance perhaps? Did it have enough mind to recognize what he was saying? No, but Lucian realized the monster did indeed know it was him because it stopped advancing. The question was though how close to man was it, or perhaps his original thoughts of it being closer to a beast was correct.
“You were looking for Tee-Nee-Tyny, right?” He asked hesitantly, “Your master, your rider?”
The creature have another growl. Lucian could only guess it was words, but it was like trying to talk to a dog or cat. You hoped they understood you but the truth of the matter was that you were simply yelling at one another.
What to do now though?
>Take Bok back to the Village
>Keep him hidden in the trees
>Go out with him to find Tee-Nee-Tyny
