>>5299745Yes, YES. This is a perfect example of Talos specialty at work.
>>5299746>TalOS cannot win the fist fight, power through!>Write-InThe Machine Spirits in Talos recognize an unacceptable level of toxic fume buildup, even for their mechanical systems. As such, they organized a purge. This was, truth be told, the exact same process sought by Talos organic body too. As such, Talos did what any man would do after consuming such vast quantiles of alcohol: he belched. From his gullet came a hazy air so rich it might as well have promethium fumes.
But the Machine Spirit was clever. As Talos burped, inside his mouth, an electrical spark was all it took. And fire erupted from him up toward the ceiling. This fire consumed a lot of the offending ale, drawing it from his body, and gave Talos just that little bit of advantage to barely eek out a win from Russ.
It was from this event that Talos would earn a new nickname. The Fenrisian word is "Fanfnyr", but the low gothic name is more widely known to the Imperium: "The Dragon."
For unlike his brother the Salamander who merely wreathed himself in flame, Talos was the one who breathed it from his very breath. A foretaste of what would one day be the Primarch who casts the fires and lightning of the cosmos from his fingertips.
>And then he has the fist fight anyway, and loses. Because Russ is really damn good. The warrior King then goes on to say that he defeated a fire breathing dragon this day>But it gives Talos an eye opening lesson and empirical data on the limitations of his body.
