Rolled 1 (1d2)
>>5879349You’re beyond tired. You have not rested since escaping from the Dothraki….and yet you refuse to risk being caught up by anyone in the open, defenseless. You’ll die before allowing those savages to capture you again.
Thoughts full of anger that fuel your tired body.
And so you jump atop your new steed…and ride.
Ride in the beautiful, magical warm summer night, toward the distant city of Sathar.
Timeskip to a few hours later
The trip was rather tiring, but also fast given your new steed is a magnificent beast, used to carrying knights in full armor – and you barely have anything on your person.
Soon the massive gates of Sathar come into sight…and the view is magnificent.
The city is renowned for its waterworks and the artistic streak of its inhabitants, even as it is considered the “Eastern Fortress” of Sarnor, bulwark against the horselords of the east, the Dothraki.
You’re approaching it straight from the East and so you get to see all of its martial might.
Endless rows of towers poke from three concentric rings of ever-taller walls, surrounding the city. And yet the city is beautiful, for there is water channeled through holes for the water inlaid in the walls themselves.
You’ve lived in Sathar for two years, before being sent to Sarnath – two years filled with boredom as you learnt the trade of a soldier, but also years filled with friendship and memories.
And so you approach the Eastern Gate.
What to do?
> Stand in line with the others, waiting to be let in the city> Risk it by claiming yourself a soldier, even without anything to truly vouch for you, banking on meeting one of your old comrades in the guard detachment.Regarding the horse:
