You swear under your breath as three capsules burst from the ground. Each is an opaque bubble with a sigil over it, marking out some kind of serial number. You run to the nearest and inject yet another payload, trying to shut it down and prevent activation. With a horrid shudder, the mass shatters. Raw data leaks into the air, polluting the room with artifacts and dazzling static.
There's no time to waste. You run to the other one and do the same, eyeing the progress bar. Malware deployment is nearly done, but so is the authority transfer. You inject it with yet another virus and leave it to implode.
You get to shut down two aspects of the program before it activate. The last one is triggered before your eyes, and you hold up a hand to shield your face from the light leaking from the capsule.
