Rheiner sat in his turret as he scanned the surroundings with the optics while he idly tapped his fingers onto the cold metal surface. He then heard the telltale thumps of mortar fire firing and then landing onto the city. He reached for the radio: "Mortar team west, walk that mortar fire to the North West, make sure every bat-ear gets a taste of shrapnel!"
Meanwhile his compatriots are keeping their eyes peeled in case a Petrekoran or Twaryian gets into their field of vision. However Rheiner had a bad gut feeling when he looked at the town north east of him, he decided to reach for the radio again, but this time to contact someone else.
