Perhaps you could tutor her, and rebuild that trust, and come to understand her that way? She would have none of it, though, rebuffing your attempts with stonefaced silence to make the Archmage herself proud—well, if anything would.
What WAS Izirina to Archmage Henzler, anyway? What was she in GENERAL? You realized by this point the error in your approach—the almost Izirina-like lack of tact you had demonstrated in your eagerness, but a part of you still yearned to understand. The dream, the vision… If there was any truth there, anything beyond drug-induced delusion, it had told you that understanding Izirina’s nature was in some way PIVOTAL to your desire to understand yourself, and the world, and your place in it.

>Elementalism—you’ve had enough of being tossed about with gusts, and having your summons dismissed>Chimericism—your understanding of Izirina hinges on understanding her biological nature, you’re sure of it>Healing—if something is wrong with your friend, perhaps you can understand and alleviate her suffering this way?>Mentalism—the Tower’s command of this discipline is limited, associated with wild and demonic magic as it is, but imagine being able to scan another’s surface thoughts…>Divination—the ability to scry, and to spy, sounds pretty useful right about now…>Write-inWhat did you do about Izirina?
>Made amends to her [How? Words alone will not be enough, at least without a really good write-in…]>Spoke with the Archmage, and get to the bottom of this with a direct confrontation with the problem’s likely source>Investigated her origins in the library records, and in any other documentation you can find from eighteen or nineteen years ago>Consulted with the True Fey—though knowledge of this sort, if they have access to it at all, may come at a price…>Forgot about it—you’ve done enough damage for now, and don’t want to risk damaging her trust in your further>Write-in
