"I think I know how to locate those." Aila realized that she was one step closer to completing her mission. You found her giving you a look full of gratitude.
"And now, if you'll excuse me," Todred said, taking out a pocket watch and giving it a quick look, "I've stretched my time thin. I must get going."
"Thank you, Todred." You shook his hand.
"Your assistance is much appreciated." Ayane smiled politely, giving a small bow to the wizard.
"Yeah, totes." Bertha also gave a smile, though she was clearly happy this meeting was over.
"Indeed." Todred said, reciprocating Ayane's bow before taking his leave with a recall potion.
You poke your goddess a few times to wake her up. When that doesn't work, you give her jugs a small grope.
"Hmm?" Herta's eyes flutter open. She yawns again, and stretches her arms. "What did I miss?"
With that you all make your way out.
"Master." Aila speaks to you after you've all strolled out of the emergency route. "I just wanted to thank you, again. Without your help, I would've still been stuck doing the same thing for years..."
"It's my responsibility as your Master to make sure my slaves are safe, happy, and loved by me." You smiled at her.
Aila returns your smile with one of her own, her ears wiggling happily. "Master will love me..." She repeated under her breath with a deeper blush.
Your Saintess kept her newfound optimism intact, now with a clearer plan moving forwards.
Upon entering The Vixen's Luck you get a small update from Yumi. The ghost girl told you that there were six guys that were loitering near the place. But she "Summoned darkness and shadows to make those fools flee from this haunted craft!" You ask for more details on them, but she didn't notice anything other than one of the guys looking like a giant.
You put that information in the back of your thoughts, now focusing on setting course towards the kitsune once more.
As you piloted your airship, and as Herta slept, you let your mind wander. It settled upon a flashback that wasn't even a few hours ago, when you'd spoken to one of the teams at the lecture today. The experience was informative, if a little interesting...

You were next to the speakers of 'What We Know Of Hybrid Breakdown' with your wives close behind you. You were here to get answers for the inquiries that were bouncing in your mind.
They were amiable, yet an unhinged undertone accompanied their words whenever they'd speak. It would put someone less confident than you on edge, though it clearly seemed to unnerve Aila for some reason.
"Would you mind answering a few questions?" You finally got to asking.
"We were hoping you'd never ask!" Canilia gave a toothy grin.
"That's-" Herta frowned. "Wait a minute."
"Just kidding!" Canilia said to you. "Sorry! I'm super sorry, mister! I always wanted to say that!"
