Fulgrim then chuckled.
“Also, this is tea, not some tankard you hold as your cheer. I hope you didn’t forget your court etiquette.”
Pangea sipped her tea without an answer. Fulgrim shook his head.
“You do realize you’ll be participating with some ball or a gathering, yes?”
“Not me, I’m sure you, Horus, and Sanguinius can handle it.” Pangea said, she bit into an apple with her bare hands. She rolled her eyes. “Alright fine, I’ll do a refresher if that will stop you from staring daggers at me.”
“Splendid.” Fulgrim said. “So, how was your journey into the void? Any adventures you want to share.”
Fulgrim saw Pangea’s shoulders stiffen, her eyes avoiding his gaze as her lips shut. Fulgrim saw this visage before, like the people of Chemos long before his ascension to the Prefector. This was not fear per say, but pain.
“Or any romance that budded during your journey?” Fulgrim said with a mischievous grin.
“W—What?” Pagnea’s body loosened. “No!”
“Truly? I thought you’d be interested since Diani is now married. I thought you would experience something like that of your own.” Fulgrim said, relieved with Pangea’s reaction. “Come now, you can tell me.”
“I didn’t have time for that, maybe Diani did but not me.” Pangea sipped her tea longer this time.
>“You know, it’s been a while since I met your sons. How about a visit them as well?”
>“How are you doing Fulgrim, are you and the rest of our brothers getting along?”
