>FINDING A WAY IN: 26 ROLL. SUCCEED!
After circling around the building for what seems like an hour, you notice something peculiar. There's an oddly placed piece of scrap metal leaning against the back of the warehouse.
You would've completely glossed it over because it's painted to be the exact same hue of grey as the wall in question. Yet, you can JUST barely notice the slight difference compared to the rest of the wall.
It is also way too big and heavy for you to move without using your powers, so you tap Lex on the shoulder. He tilts his head like a confused animal. "Yeah? What's the matter, Nick?"
You walk over to where the scrap metal is and push on it slightly to show Lex where it is. "This. Not wall. Help me move it?" You hope he gets the idea.
"Ah!" Thankfully, he does. He gestures at Alexis to come help at well and, with some reluctance, she does. The three of you begin to push the heavy sheet of scrap metal.
Once it's out of the way, you can see what it was covering. A hole in the wall. Just big enough for you three to squeeze through.
"Good eye." Alexis actually sounds impressed by you for once. "I wouldn't have expected you to notice it. Hell, I didn't."
You simply nod along before you start squeezing through the hole. You get in easily thanks to your smaller build, so does Alexis, but Lex has to take a while longer to squeeze in given his sheer girth. You have time to kill thanks to that distraction earlier, though.
Once inside, you take a look at your surroundings. You're in a storage room it seems. Shelves line the walls from top to bottom, boxes stuffed with god knows what filling every possible space. It smells like urine, chemicals, and blood and frankly, taking a closer look at the floor? There's stains here you don't want to think too hard about.
There's only a single door leading out of the room, so you approach it and carefully open it. You make damn sure it doesn't squeak and blow your cover. Your allies follow behind while you peer around the corner...and you notice the last room was connected to what seems like the main room of the warehouse.
The ceiling overwhelms you with how high it goes up, at least a solid thirty feet high. Shelves as far as your eyes can see are scattered throughout. The only thing keeping this place lit up is an intensely strong light coming from a single light bulb from the top of the ceiling.
Besides the shelves, the main thing you notice is several tall, burly men standing around some sort of mad scientist looking chemistry set. Your brain doesn't take long to guess that's probably some sort of drug lab.
"Lord above, we're dealing with drug smugglers?" Alexis whispers, trying not to get their attention. Lex leans in to take a closer look before shaking his head. "Nah. I think they're making their own supplier. You can guess why."
The main entrance door slides open, catching the attention of everyone, including your group.
