You couldn’t deny that sending a courier would take too long. Yes, going after the jammer was risky but it looked like your only real option was to try your luck. Saving the nearby friendlies was practically a no brainer. If Zavrazin was right and the enemy wasn’t expecting increased resistance you could grow your forces before the Neromains had a chance to commit more troops to your AO.
“I suppose we’ll see if these mercenaries are truly worth the money. Draw up a plan to take out the jammer while I see about sending a relief column…”

Jack “Wire man” Kerry hadn’t expected to be administrator of a nascent mercenary company, but these freelancers had no idea what they were doing, at least when it came to handling things behind the scenes. Their battle tactics were something he would reserve judgement on. Kerry had been a little surprised when he found out he was the only guy in the convoy that had a head for paper work. Uncle Jim had taught him that most mercs neglected this aspect of the job; too busy chasing battle to really think about negotiating a proper contract. Just as well he was around, the Nevik Operators Armed Forces (N.O.A.F) had a very different definition of “premium rate” than the rest of the world have. Taking the standard rate and jacking it up by few credits did not make it premium. Jack had spent the last two days negotiating a new contract with Chief Zoric, the woman really knew her stuff and it had been hard to extract any concessions out of her. He had a feeling that gaining any more leverage would hinge on the company’s future performance. For now he had new missions to announce, and just in time too, some of the mercs were getting bored.
“Alright listen up everyone. We’ve got new missions from our employers, I’ll leave it to you which ones you want to take but you can’t all be deployed on the same one. After negotiating the new contract with the NOAF I’ve also managed to make some new equipment available for purchase.”

<span class="mu-s">Mission Structure:</span>
While I accommodated all 15 players in the first mission I generally don’t like to run a mission with more than 10 players for the sake of my sanity. Going forward missions will be run in a “campaign turn” structure. During the start of each campaign turn a selection of missions voted on by the players will be opened for sign ups.
Each player can sign up for one mission per campaign turn.
Each mission has a maximum player count of 10. For now difficulty will be tuned based on the amount of players participating, but this may change.
