>Focus on your priorities.
As Lorene thinks, Clover pops into her field of view, waving and wagging her battery-operated tail. “What’re you looking at, Lor-Lor?”
She gives a small smile in reply. “Nothing really, just thinking about what to do.”
“Oh!” Clover puts a hand to her chin, reduces tail wag to zero, and thinks intently too. “Hmm, well, did ya hear what she said, Lor-Lor? There’s a detective’s office in the mall!” The girl slowly paces back and forth. “An interesting place, for sure… but nothing a wolf can’t handle!” She points at Lorene with a grin. “Care to be the Watson to my Sherlock HOWLmes?”
Lorene considers it. Then she considers her parents and Olivia. “Sorry, Clover, but I think I should probably go. My parents need me, and…” She trails off, realizing something. “Say, I know you don’t really know me, and I don’t want to put anything on you Clover, but, if you stop by this detective’s office thing and it seems legitimate, could you send me a text?”
“…Sure!” Clover smiles. “Parents are important, real important. If they need you, then you should probably go help them! Even wolves know that!” The wolf-girl stretches nonchalantly. “I’ll send you a text, maybe even some pictures too!”
Lorene smiles. “Thanks, Clover.”
“No problem! Well, I should probably start going to the mall, so I’ll see you later Lor-Lor!” The wolf-girl waves as she quickly runs off.
Lorene waves back, before turning her attention back to the wall of Olivia messages on her phone. Alright. Time to get to work.
>Probably more polite to call than just send a text, but how’re you gonna go about this?
