...Kalaheimr...
The frozen north. Shattered to a million pieces, or a million island fragments, it wrapped around the whole globe up there like bands of ice and earthen rock and soil. Like a spiral, if one were to gaze down at it from the vacuum above in our firmament. To try and scour every last island would be folly, it would take too long when we ran short of time, even if we never ran short of stamina. So we decided to go a little farther past Jenk's farm, and started from Aflheimr itself going into the outer rings of the north.
The vastness of the ice and water embraces us.
[JENK] "If we're to search in Kalaheimr, then perhaps it would best if we simply made a beeline to the crater zone at the heart."
'You mean the site where it all happened one thousand years ago?'
[JENK] "Yes. The point where the Millennium Moon a long time ago once impacted the ancient snowy earth there. I've never been. I've always wanted to see it as... a site of pilgrimage, mayhap... To an old friend of mine."
'Mm. Very well, we can head that way.'

The bitter cold left behind by Vymla's death can freeze any and all. I would be wary, even the three of us on our way like this. Contact with the bitter cold would leave us immobile."
'Is her ice truly that frightening?'
[JENK] "Think of how cold the universe itself really is. There's much more cold, dead vacuum than there is space heated by stars in the sky. So much cold made her overwhelming. And yet, she was the most gentle of persons you could imagine to ha-"
[WOLFBOY] "H-Hey! Guys! Guys!"
Suddenly, Wolfboy ran to us both as we walked across the water that was frozen solid into ice. I looked to him as he came to grab the attention of us. I was just about to chastise him about wandering far telepathically too...
[WOLFBOY] "I found something! I saw something, over there!" He said, pointing us towards the northeast.
'What is it? Was it over that ridge?'
[WOLFBOY] "Y-Yeah! You both gotta see, come look! C'mon!"
We make haste, trekking up over the ice incline ahead. What we saw then was-
