Galactic conquest - a rich alien's game. Not something for you to worry about, not the big picture stuff, at least. With trillions of aliens in this star system, you had to scratch and claw your way to the top of your field, perhaps figuratively, but more than likely not. Your life's journey has led you here, to the edge of an uncharted and roguish galaxy, lured and tempted by riches beyond your imagination. You are a pinnacle of biology, technology, enterprise, or perhaps something else... You are a Klone Keeper.
ArchAlien Längsnūz has conquered and terraformed another planet along the Nūzsläng Asteroid Belt in his SnängLūzz Galaxy. Now, he needs a Klone Keeper of the lowest bid (free) and the highest stature (literally anyone) to populate this new planet with only the choicest designer species, all to be birthed from his Klone Eggs. Being a finnicky celebrity with exquisite taste, ArchAlien Längsnūz cares only for lifting the fame, fortune and power of a single Klone Keeper, who shall inherit the planet, its naming rights, and everything else on it forever more.
In this multiplayer game, you will create an alien Klone Keeper, tend to Eggs and Klonez, manage resources, create alliances or enemies, and capture and fight over territory!
Players: 2-8
>How do I play?
Respond to this post with your Keeper's name and an introduction or background if you would like, then choose an Ecosystem from the list that hasn't been chosen yet (Ecosystem is solely cosmetic and for identification on the map).
Then ArchAlien Längsnūz will roll for your unique Keeper Komplex location and one of six Keeper Traits. Once you have been given a starting location and the first map has been posted, you may start playing.
Every turn in a single post, each player rolls 2d10 and chooses 1 Territorial Action, 1 Auxiliary Action, and a Reasonable Amount™ of Free Actions. The first die corresponds to Territory, and the second die is for Auxiliary. (To roll dice, type "dice+2d10" in the Options field without the quotation marks.) With the exception of territory defenses, actions cannot be changed retroactively after posted, unless approved by ArchAlien Längsnūz. I will try to update every 24-72 hours, or after every player has acted.
I am planning on 25 Turns for this first map, so keep that in mind for your strategies! At the end of the 25 Turns, a winner will be chosen based on a point system, with points awarded for territory and conquest, Klone quantity and quality, endgame assets and KP bank, as well as other factors.
