resembled this. The inspiration comes from Gothograecia (Byzantine empire area that had Greek-speaking barbarian goth descendants) I am fascinated by the idea of a culture that paradoxically united barbarians and refined / decadent civilisation in one. Perhaps the Imperial Legion has a similar look... (QM: if you have ideas for a different aesthetic, feel free to ignore me lol and upload or create your own! Also if you want to suggest some of your film / videogame influences or inspirations for the Imperial Legion, I can look around and see if I have anything!)
By the time our current game setting is taking place, the Gothograe throne worlds are all lost and gone - the Isonomy has taken over. The last heir of the Pretannic Worlds, a child-king named Searlas III, abdicated peacefully and accepted vassalage under the Isonomy.
