>>5434269With that the two of you return to Ximen city. You first bank all of your collected loot then change back into your usual gear. The crafter that Skyfrost was supposed to meet should be here by now. He invites you along to which you accept. You don’t have much to do anyway, might as well go and see what he’s up to. Following Skyfrost into the crafting district, he leads you to a decently large workshop. Inside, there is a single player at the counter named Spiritwalker (神欲行), inspecting some schematics.
“Yo.” Skyfrost uses the /wave emote at him.
“You’re late. I thought we were supposed to meet an hour ago?”
“Ah well, I was caught up with something.” Skyfrost retrieves some of the Celestial Plumwood tree and places it on the counter. “This will surely make up for it, no?”
“You… So this is how far you’ve fallen? Stooping to snatching rare materials from scrubs?” Spiritwalker sighs, turning to look at you. “Who’s he?”
“My new dagger-axe friend.”
You give a brief introduction. From this Spiritwalker’s voice, he’s probably a few years older than you so you’re a bit more polite with your speech. It seems like the two of them are very well acquainted. Perhaps they are old friends.
“Anyway, how are the schematics for the blade coming along?” Skyfrost asks. “I got that [Ancient Trapped Soul] you asked for.”
“I’ll be done with it soon. But are you sure you want me to make this? Seems pretty unimpressive for how expensive it’ll be to make.”
“Heh, well, we’ll see when the blade is complete.”
They chat for a little while longer while you inspect the interior of the workshop. On the walls are countless displays of finely crafted weaponry, swords, daggers, polearms - virtually every type of weapon you could find in the game was here.
“Right, my friend here happens to have a custom weapon. Wanna take a look?” Skyfrost suddenly brings up.
“I don’t do work for free.”
“Come on! I assure you you’ll find something interesting. Distant-Cloud, show him your dagger-axe!”
What do you say?
